Technical standards are the market competition dominance. CEI is leading the industry technology development through standardization, by setting up 15 IEC international standardization platforms and 11 national standardization platforms. Since 2010, CEI has sponsored or participated in the formulation or revision of over 600 technical standards, among which there are 30 IEC standards, which has supported the internationalization of Chinese electrical appliances industry and international standardization discourse.
The Productivity Promotion Center for Industrial and Household Electrical Appliance Industry affiliated to CVC has set up numbers of national and international professional standardization technical committee secretariats.
